From its early origins, this breathtaking site, consisting of 70 acres of woodland, lawns, terraced gardens and the magnificent sandy Priory Bay, has been built upon by Medieval Monks, Tudor Farmers and Georgian Gentry. Now it's medley of beautiful buildings have been sympathetically restored and stylishly redecorated to create a unique country house by the sea, which has become synonymous with service and luxury. All events are under the direct charge of fully trained professionals and with a growing number of awards, the Priory Bay Hotel is now ranked with the best in Britain. Within the hotel there are elegant reception and meeting rooms, including the Island Room, which is licensed for civil ceremonies. It is an intimate room that is lavishly decorated with murals of the Island; it has an open fire and views across the lawn to the Solent. All of our bedrooms are individually appointed and many have exquisite views of the sea and gardens. There are also modern chalets within the grounds. Other facilities include two tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool and a 9-hole 3-par golf course. We are also able to organize sailing, shooting, horse riding and other activities as well as corporate and team building events.
