We do this by providing serviced office accommodation and conference, training and meeting room facilities. Resource for London, the building, is run by a charity for charities. We understand your needs and provide a service tailor-made for you. We are committed to providing the highest level of service to the voluntary sector. Resource for London employs no staff of its own but is a London Living Wage supporter and promoter. It has an AIM Secure Accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association.

    Charles Darwin House is the home of four charitable societies active in the Biosciences (The Biochemical Society, Society of Biology, British Ecological Society and the Society of Experimental Biology) and a London hub for the subject. As well it houses a newly built conference centre which boasts a state of the art lecture theatre seating up to 130, a collection of smaller meeting rooms and breakout areas with space for trade exhibitions and poster display. Charles Darwin House is easily accessible by public transport making it an ideal location to host UK-based and international events. The building has also been awarded BREEAM Excellence Award for 'The Code for Sustainable Buildings' in 2010.

    Dr Johnson's House is one of the few residential houses of its age still surviving in the City of London. Built in 1700, it was a home and workplace for Samuel Johnson 1748-1759, and it was here that he compiled the first comprehensive English Dictionary. Now restored to its original condition, the house contains panelled rooms, a pine staircase, and a collection of period furniture, prints and portraits. Situated to the north of Fleet Street, the house is found among a maze of courtyards and passages that are a reminder of historic London. Dr Johnson’s House provides a unique and welcoming historical backdrop for a wide variety of events.
