    Gymkhana is inspired by Colonial Indian gymkhana clubs, set up by the British Raj, where members of high society came to socialize, dine, drink and play sport. Gymkhana offers two private dining vaults secluded on either side of the lower ground floor, each offering a range of set menus or a selection of menu items allowing guests to create their own bespoke menu and wine pairing. With banquette seating in each vault, guests can dine in groups of up to nine or up to fourteen. Gymkhana is also available for exclusive hire on each level seating 50 guests on the ground floor and 50 guests on the lower ground floor.     Monday October 31st 2005, saw the opening of The Living Room W1 on Heddon Street in London's West End. Opening in the former Post Office, made famous by its appearance on the cover of David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album. The Living Room W1 takes the hugely successful The Living Room concept to a new level with a bar, lounge and restaurant set over two beautifully designed floors. Private hire The Living Room W1 is available for private hire throughout the year, depending on specific requirements, timing and day of the week. The venue includes a 275 capacity bar on the ground floor with a lounge and restaurant that seats 72 with a further 90 covers on the beautifully designed 1st floor.     Fitzroy House is an original 1791 building imitating the designs of Robert Adam, the famous Georgian period architect who along with his brother designed Fitzroy Square. The house is one of the last remaining structures on the block that retains its original external architecture and now shows the life and work of L. Ron Hubbard. The house comprises four impressive floors, one of which is dedicated to an exhibition of Ron Hubbard's early life from boy scout to explorer. It also illustrates his career as one of the top fiction writers in the 1930s and 40s and his later achievements in the humanities. As he holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for Most Published Author (1,084 publications) one of the floors is appropriately dedicated to his literary works. We welcome visitors from around the world to step into this 1950s time capsule where they can view original manuscripts, rare edition books and artifacts relating to the life of one of the most prominent authors of the 20th century.     We’re on site with this building which was originally constructed in 1913 for Smiths Industries. They made the first ever Speedometers for the motor car so we have some industrial heritage with the building, albeit much of it has been destroyed over the years. Still, we’re working hard with architects Stiff & Trevillion to pull some of that character back. We’re also moving our head office into part of the space so the design may have a little bit of everything we like from our other buildings. Expect a combination of industrial/contemporary style mixed with vintage/modern furniture and lighting. The overall feel will be light and young with a hint of this building’s history. At the top end of Great Portland Street, the building is very close to our Henry Wood House, so all of those facilities are available, but 179 GPS will have plenty of it’s own, with lounges and drop-in working, bike storage and showers. We’re right by Regent’s Park if you fancy joining our running or cycling clubs. And loads of restaurants right by the front door to carb up once done, from Villandry to Portland to Demartino, the most understated but fantastic Italian. A great meeting needs a great meeting room. The rooms are tailored to specific types of meeting both in design and technology and are available by the hour or the day.
